Discovering Desert Animals

Today is Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Many animals that live in the desert sleep in the heat of the day. They come out at night to find food. What else can we learn about animals by exploring the desert? “Some animals leave their food in the desert,” told Alec. “In our book, a woodpecker was pecking on a cactus.
