Help a Friend

Today is Friday, October 24, 2008. This week we read about animals helping each other to live and enjoy life. Why is it often better to work with others? Gracie thinks that if you fought with friends they would get mad at you and it would become a bigger fight. "If you don't work together then they will get mad at you and go tell someone," says Samantha. "You could climb a tree when you help someone else. You could give them a boost up," explained Tre. Anthony told us that if someone doesn't know how to swim, you could help them. First you could start them out with a floaty. Then you could hold them if you are strong enough. Let go and push. Tell them to move their legs and arms and off they go swimming.

We are studing about the upcoming election.

We checked out this website for lots of information about the candidates. Check it out at home with your family.
